My C&D reflection

C&D reflection
There are two types of focus questions, convergent and divergent.

Convergent
Are the questions that get you to one specific answer. Typical convergent questions  are, Who? What? When? Where? This questions get you to basic information that can help you to make a better searching of specific answers and connect it to the disperse information you get from divergent questions.

Divergent
Are the questions that allows different and more open answers. You have to connect this information to get a specific answer. So you need more brain power to answer this question because you have to relate a lot of information from your searching. How could? Suppose? What might? these are some examples for this type of questions, they help you to think outside the box. Divergent questions can also help you to answer convergent questions.

Personal opinion
I prefer to use divergent questions because I can be better informed about what I am looking for. On the other hand when you search specific information like, When did someone die? Your answer will be short and specific, so you are using convergent questions.
But when we did a searching in class about computers, I used divergent questions like, How work modern computers? for example. Because the answer is really open. There will be different answers saying there are different types of computers and how they work etc. I connected the answers I get, with the information that my partner gets and then we could build a specific answer.

I hope you like my C&D post
