Convergent and Divergent thinking
A few days ago our teacher ask us a very simple question: "what is a computer?". The whole class looked surprised by the facility of answering this question. We search the answer in google giving to the teacher the answer that we thought war correct. But then he explain us that there were to different ways to solute a question.
The first one is answering with a convergent thinking. This Technic is based in only ask question like: Who..? Where..? What..? or Why..? These questions only take us to the easiest and simple answers like:"A computer is a programmable machine". It leads you answer specific answers.
The second one is the divergent thinking. This is based of asking yourself questions like: What might..? Supposing..? How could..? With this Technic we can create many variations of answers like: "What might happen if my computer..".
