Personal reflection on C&D thinking and mind mapping

Personal reflection on C&D thinking

Hi everybode, here I am with a new post. Today I want to talk about Convergent and Divergent thinking. In our NTYCX class, our teacher made us a question, that was "What is a computer?". At first we thought that this question was simple, but not. A computer is more than a screen with a keyboard.

Out teacher showed us a video about two types of infomation resources. We can use Convergent and Divergent questions.

Convergent questions: This is a basic comprehension level thinking and it may used to have a specific answer.
They begin with; What? When? Who? and Where?.

Divergent questions: This is a litlle bit more complex. Are the kind of questions that allow us to explore more avenues and consider all the possibilities about the topic. The divergent thinking is based on thinking "out of the box".
They begin with a opened question: How could? What might? What if? Suppose...

With my partner we made a mindmap about our topic. In that mindmap we used Convegent and Divergent questions. That helped us a lot with the infomation resources.
For the mindmap we used https://www.mindomo.com/es/  , you should try it, it is very good to do a mindmap.
And also here I leave our mindmap so you can see what we have done https://www.mindomo.com/mindmap/what-is-a-computer-55a5823d2378470d8f32f907d2986136

I hope you enjoyed this Blog and you knew more about Convirgent and Divergent thinking.
See you later!
