Convergent vs. Divergent thinking and mind mapping
Hi everyone! Welcome back to my blog, I am very excited about the post of today. Hope you like it!
What is a computer? With this question started my last NTYCX class. Well, probably you will think that the answer is obious "a computer is the thing with a screen and a keyboard that I have on my desk. I can do my homework and play games with it".
But the answer is a little bit more complex. We have to think Convergently. This concept means that the convergent questions are those questions that lead you to ONE answer.
They often begin with; Who? What? Where? When?
But we can think Divergently too, if we want to achieve the answer. The divergent thinking is based on "thinking out of the box". Here we have a question that might lead you to even more questions. They begin with phrases such as; How could? What might? What if? Suppose...
This will be probably the fist thing you will think.

Convergently thinking.

Divergent thinking
I personally think that both forms of thinking compliments each other, but the Divergent thinking is for me more effective and if you do a research your investigation will be more complete.

To do my mind map I used the https://www.mindomo.com. It works very good. Doing a mindmap is a good idea to study. I put the most importants concepts on it and is very easy to learn of it.

Well, that is it! Hope this post can help you and you learn something new!
