Personal reflection: Convergent and Divergent Thinking and Mindmapping

Hey!! In the last sessions of NTYCX Class, we had the assignment to answer this question: What is a computer? This seems pretty obvious right? Many of us would have answered: "Well, a computer is this thing with a screen and a keyboard where we can look at our social networks and play games" or "a computer is the thing I'm writing right now to do this post."
(This is probably what most of us would have thought when answering the Question)
This, however, is an incomplete answer. The thing is, we had to think divergently to answer the question, we had "to think out of the box." When a question is divergent, we have one question that might lead to many answers, or even more questions. Convergently Thinking is when multiple questions lead to ONE answer. I saw this video that explains really good the difference between the two, so if you want to watch it, click here ------ Convergent vs. Divergent Questions

SO... After we had some ideas of how we should answer this question, we had to put this all together in a MIND MAP!!! For creating one of this, I used a tool named Mindomo. I had no problems at all to use it, so here is another video to see how it works (but I think you will get on easily)------Mindomo Review Visual Mapping Review Series 2014
This is our final product:
Isnt it great how many colors you can use?
Well, thats it for this post. I hope these tips can help someday, somehow. :)
